Information Collection, Use & Privacy
TNS collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
- Registration
In order to access and/or use certain portions of TNS' website or service you may be required to
complete an online registration form, which requires that you provide certain personally-identifiable
contact information (such as your name and e-mail address). We will use this information to provide you
service or to contact you about the services we offer. We may also send you site and service announcement updates.
- Order Forms
Our order forms also require that you provide personal information (like your name and physical address) and certain
other information. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders or respond to customer's
requests. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with you. We will
not transfer any financial information you may provide to third parties without your affirmative consent.
- Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data placed on your hard drive when you visit our site. Cookies help us recognize you when you
come back to our site. For example, when you revisit our site after you have received a cookie from us, you would not
have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Among other things, cookies also help
us track traffic on our site, thereby enabling us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the
experience on our site.
We may link cookie information with any personally-identifiable information you provide us. This will help us better
tailor our site and provide you with offers that we think may be of interest to you.
If you choose, you can set up your Web browser to: (1) to inform you when cookies are being set before a cookie is stored;
or (2) not to accept cookies. You can also erase cookies from the hard drive of your computer. A decision not to accept
cookies could limit your access to some of the functionality and services that are available on our Web site.
- Referrers, IP Addresses and Other non-Personal Information
TNS also collects information through "referrers", IP addresses and various environmental variables. A "referrer" is
information the Web browser passes along to TNS' Web server that references the URL from which you came. The "IP address"
is a number used by computers on the network to identify your computer so that data can be transmitted to you.
"Environmental variables" include, among other things, the domain from which you access the Internet, the time you accessed
our Web site, type of Web browser and operating system or platform used, the Internet address of the Web site you left to
visit TNS, the names of the pages you visit while at our Web site, and the Internet address of the Web site you then visit.
We collect all of this information to allow us to detect broad demographic trends, to provide information tailored to
your interests and to enhance your experience on TNS' Web site.
If you elect to provide us with your information, then any data you specifically and knowingly provide will become the property
of TNS. The same applies if you send e-mail to us. However, it is our commitment to keep any personal information you give us
confidential within our organization. We take precautions to protect your information from inadvertent disclosure and
intrusion by third parties.
If you provide TNS with your e-mail address, or have done so in the past, we may upon occasion send you information about
our products, services, or upcoming events by e-mail. You have the ability to stop receiving such promotional e-mail from
us at any time by sending an e-mail request to
PosRetailSales@tnsi.com.
If you have any questions regarding privacy and this website, please contact us via e-mail at
PosRetailSales@tnsi.com.

identifiable information from any child under the age of 13 without parental consent. When we do receive such information,
we delete it as soon as we discover it and do not use it or share it with third parties.
